Binoviewers improve views dramatically, producing a three dimensional effect, immersive viewing experience that you will love!
Using two eyes for observing instead of one produces a much more relaxed and an almost 3D viewing experience which also lets you see more detail with increased contrast.

Suited to planetary, moon and bright deep sky objects it provides a more natural way of observing since our brains are wired to work with images that both eyes produce together. This is also the reason why more details can often be seen.
Reduced eye fatigue also means longer observations are possible.

This is also a fantastic tool to share the pleasures of astronomy with family and friends who will instantly find the activity familiar, just like looking through a pair of binoculars.

The binoviewer is very well-made, has a quality construction with a rubberized coating for easy gripping, even with gloves on.  The fully multi-coated BaK4 prisms provide increased light transmission with no vignetting or light cut-off.  Each eyepiece holder can be individually focused.

The 1.25" insert barrel is threaded for filters, allowing you to use one filter instead of threading them on each individual eyepiece.

Especially suited to most catadioptric telescopes (Schmidt-Cassegrain, Maksutov-Cassegrain, etc.), it will also work with some refractors and some newtonian telescopes, but depending on the amount of back focus available on these designs using the binoviewer may result in the inability to focus to infinity. This is however typically greatly mitigated by the use of a barlow lens.
Please note we cannot guarantee the ability to reach focus for a given telescope as this greatly varies depending on telescope models, accessories being used, type of focusers, travel length of focusers etc.

Choose your own focal length from the range of Dual ED 1.25" eyepieces. High optical quality 1.25" eyepieces with ED elements to deliver outstanding contrast and sharpness. The eyepieces combine these optical qualities with a large 60 degrees field of view for a greater immersion and observation comfort. The field of view is flat - free of distorsions - and the colours are extremely well corrected. All air to glass surfaces are fully multicoated for optimal contrast and maximum light transmission. The full internal baffling combined with the blackened lens edges work to eliminate internal reflections and optimise contrast. The eyepieces offer a comfortable eye relief, suited to spectacles wearers and the eyecups can be twisted for an optimal adjustment.

For instruments with long focal lengths, the 25mm eyepiece is recommended, especially if you also have a 2X barlow that you might use in conjunction with the binoviewer.

Please note: Depending on our arrivals, the Binoviewers might come branded as Sky Rover, Celestron, Omegon, Skywatcher, or without any brand.
