Founder Optics 0.8x Flattener/Reducer for Refractors

Add versatility to your Founder Optics telescope with the 0.8x Flattener/Reducer, giving you a faster scope for wider field imaging. The flattener provides correction inherent to all refractors for a flat field and sharp, pinpoint stars all the way to the corners of your images. 

Included with the flattener are interchangeable M42 and M48 adapters for maximum compatibility with your imaging system. On the telescope side, the flattener is a push fit 2" that is threaded to accept all standard 2" filters, such as light pollution narrowband filters.

This fully multi-coated flattener has a clear aperture of 38mm.
The image circle at the standard 55mm backfocus distance is 42mm, ensuring full frame sensors are 98% illuminated.

The flattener/reducer can also be used in refractors other than Founder Optics as long as they are within an F/5 to F/7 range.
